The new iPod touch 3rd generation has made it’s debut. Unfortunately, it isn’t much different than the 2nd generation iPod touch. There had been rumors of a camera being included on the 3rd gen, but that is not the case. The size and weight of the 3rd generation is the same as the 2nd generation. The 3rd generation does have a bit more RAM, making the processor a little faster. The biggest improvement over the 2nd generation, is the ability to hold more music with it’s 64gb flash memory.
The battery life is listed as 30 hours for music playing and 6 hours of video play. The 3rd generation has a 3.5 inch widescreen touch display, which is the same as the 2nd generation. It isn’t exactly the most breathtaking model with a ton of new features, but it is still very useful. The ability to surf the web, listen to music and play games on one little device is still pretty spectacular.
