Microsoft Unveils Touchscreen Tablet ‘Courier’

Resembling a business portfolio straight out of Blader Runner, Microsoft has unveiled its first touchscreen tablet called Courier. Though Courier is still in the developmental stages, it’s already making some big waves in the tech world.

This dual-screen portfolio device folds just like a large book or folder. The two multitouch screens are both 7 inches, and can not only be manipulated via a stylus, but can also detect finger gestures as well.

Microsoft has managed to forge ahead from the Zune vs. iPod race, and revealed this tech beauty at the Gizmodo Gallery in New York, well before Apple’s own version of the touch-tablet has been seen (or heard of that matter).

For those who are already browsing the net for the best price on the Courier, keep in mind that this device is still in the test stages, and probably won’t be available commercially for a while. Still, ain’t she pretty?
